Just thinking about some stuff after hearing what you have said.
My grandpas,as well as my maternal grandma, passed away long before I was born. I dunno how either of my ah gongs character like, or how my grandma was like. I did try to imagine how life was like if all my grandparents are around. But it wasn't real.
I was wondering how life would be like if my living grandma with my paternal grandpa. I would really envy the marriage between them, envy that even though the age gap a bit big but still, loving...
Hearing stories from older cousins, aunts and uncles.
I can only figure that my paternal grandpa was a strict and fierce guy, my maternal grandpa was one that dotes on his children as well as grandchildren. My maternal grandma? She's a loving one, I guess.
Life would be so different if they were still around. Things wouldn't be the same.
Perhaps I'm feeling a little emotional and tired from today's events.
Paying respects to my late uncle in the morning to mark his 100th day since he passed on.
Even though he wasn't appearing in much of my life due to jail, I remembered him as the cleanest uncle among all.
He loved being clean and he loves animals.
To think that he contracted cancer and lost the battle. I remembered the last time I saw him was the evening before he passed.
He was all bones and skin and yellow. I cried on that day. I really cried. He's my family even though we weren't all that close. But it still hurts.
Everybody knew he couldn't last for another day. And that was my last visit to him.
I remembered I dreamt of him at the time he passed on. My mum was the one who told me abt the news in the dream. As I woke up, my dad rang and said, he passed on.
Is it pure coincidence? It's most probably he wanted to tell me through dreams.
Second Uncle Chong Hock, I will remember you. RIP.
