Listening to It Stops Today by Colbie Caillat made me super super emotional. It wasn't about her being one of my favourite artistes around but it was more of the lyrics. I couldn't stop crying after repeatedly listening to that song because its so close to heart.

When I heard that hooter was giving the girl of his dreams a surprise. I really hope that the girl would accept him. Because hooter is a really good catch. Well, he fits my bill of my dream man but nah, he's like my brother. So won't think about it. Anyway, I found it surprisingly cute when he told me all of the details of how he confessed to the girl. He brought the girl to gardens by the bay, visit the conservatories with her (taking couple pictures of course). With the city skyline as their backdrop, I am very sure that it was so aww...
After that he brought her to mbs to watch the light show. Given that he is a guy full of surprise, he decided to blindfold her and blast music into her ears to block off any noise that could reveal where she was(Man, he's good at this.) He held her hands and assured her that he will never let go and guided her all the way to the skybar at the 57th storey. He brought her to a spot where she gets the entire view and whisper sweet nothings to her; How she meant the whole world to him and how she made him feel is like what she is about to see. After the count of three, she opened her eyes and oh my god, she was shockjed and touched. He told her, "This is how you made me feel, at the top of the world." (seriously, who wouldn't be touched at this gesture? My eyes were glistened with tears when he told me at this point of the time. Damn romantic!) He gave her a gift and a long confession note.
After that he brought her to clark quay and went on the river cruise. He made her close her eyes again and gave her the album he worked so hard to produce. A album of all his guitar covers. She was really really shocked and touched by then. By telling her that every song was recorded from the bottom of his heart, it made my heart wench. I'm sure she felt it too. Plus he brought his ukulele and sang "I'm Yours" to her (Come on, he's really too serious about you, give my bro a chance please? He's a really sweet guy.)
Walking hand in hand to xin wang cafe, enjoying each other's company till 3am and went back esplanade to take photos together. Really smooth there, bro!
The night was drawing to an end, he told her that tonight was to show her his actions through small gestures, they are sincere and genuine because he likes her a lot. There is nothing that he wanted to change about her. And last but not least, he whispered, promising the world to her. He send her home and gave her a kiss.

This is the first time, I ever heard of a date so detailed and I'm honoured that hooter is willing to tell me. I never once doubt how sweet and romantic he is. Typing all this made me all gooey gushy inside my heart. Sigh, this is my type of romance. Gosh, I do love happy endings! So touching!!! Mao.
Hey to the girl my bro likes, give him a chance. I know you didn't had a good relationship with your ex but I can assure you that you won't regret being hooter's girl. Seeing the way he is now, I'm happy for him.
